The Natural Health Practitioner Program

The Natural Health Practitioner program is composed of 350 contact hours designed to educate and prepare anyone motivated to enter in the field of natural health education.

The student graduated from the Natural Health Practitioner program will be certified as a Natural Health Practitioner.

The natural health practitioner career gives the individual the opportunity to share his or her passion and knowledge for holistic healing with others. After graduation, the Natural Health Practitioner will have the fundamental knowledge to offer educational information to anyone interested in the field of natural health so as the application of the acquired knowledge to enhance his or her own health. The graduate could qualify to work in health spas, fitness centers, health clinics, schools, open his or her own business, or any other location seeking the work of a natural health educator.

This program on natural health is a unique approach to wellness where the student explores the fundamentals on how the human body should work during a balanced stage and the physiotherapeutic signs presented by the body if this balance is interrupted or disturbed.

The student is exposed to the basic concepts on how homeopathic and herb preparation affects the body. Furthermore, how nutritional supplements, meditation, breathing, stretch and exercise, assist the body’s self-healing mechanism.

The Natural Health Practitioner curriculum is composed of the study of human anatomy and physiology, basic homeopathy and herbology, general and holistic nutrition, basic Oriental medicine, stress management techniques, business legality, professional ethics, and hands-on practices on natural health teaching.

After the student has completed all the academic requirements inside of the classroom, he or she will be required to develop and present a natural health program to the community. This community outreach program is to assure that the student has obtained the basic knowledge on how to deliver educational information about natural health to anyone interested on the subject.

The Natural Health Practitioner curriculum is subdivided into three areas of concentration, with each area of concentration being composed of phases and topics specifically chosen for that area of concentration. The three phases or areas of concentration are human anatomy and physiology, natural health and wellness, business development and legality, and professional ethics.

>> The first phase focuses on the study of Human Anatomy and Physiology.

>> The second phase concentrates on the study of various components of natural approaches to health and a supervised community outreach practice.

>> The third phase includes the study of business development and legality, and professional ethics.
